Union Officers

Bill Zeman (President)

I got my masters in history and started teaching college level history in 2006. I started teaching history at Citrus in 2008 and joined the part-timers union in 2010 and served as the Representation Officer until 2012. Then I became president and served until 2016. Then I was Treasurer until 2022, and have been President ever since.

When I am not teaching or doing union work, I play video games and board games with my family and my friends. My wife and I host a weekly bible study in our house. I like to ski occasionally and walk my dog for exercise. I like to read a lot of history.

Jim Hague (Vice President)

For the past three years I’ve taught Dual Enrollment courses to Azusa High School students. It’s an exciting program that offers high school students the opportunity to earn college credits. After a successful 25 year entrepreneur career, I decided to embark into the wonderful world of teaching. I teach the services I offer to clients as a business owner : Photography, Web Development, Video Editing, and Graphic Design.

When I’m not teaching I podcast (MrHaguesClass) and read.

Laura Wills (Treasurer)

I teach anthropology at Citrus College and have been working there since 2013. Shortly after I started, I became interested in union matters and I began attending meetings to better understand developments among faculty and within the college. It was/is a small faculty union, but I appreciated the approachability of the union officers and the casual, familiar vibe to the meetings. I became the Representation Officer within a year of attending and I now serve as the Treasurer.

Outside of work, I enjoy tinkering and dabbling in different hobbies; I am currently learning another language and trying to learn guitar. My family and I also like to travel together and seek out new activities around SoCal.

Peter (Secretary)

An Ethnic Studies professor at Citrus College since 2022, I have had the pleasure of being an active member of CCAFF since I started here. Serving as the secretary, I have had the opportunity to witness the efforts that CCAFF makes in order to support fellow adjuncts here at Citrus College.

A product of California’s Community College system, I attended Citrus College weeks after graduating from West Covina High School. I graduated with my BA in English from the University of California Riverside. I graduated with my MA in Cultural Studies from Claremont Graduate University.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling through spontaneous road trips on my motorcycle but find myself preferring a night in cooking up a new dish.
